SAF and ITRC Dissertation Award 2023 – Call for nominations

The Icelandic Travel Industry Association (SAF) and The Icelandic Tourism Research Centre (ITRC) annually assign two dissertation awards in recognition of an outstanding dissertation on tourism produced by a student/students of an Icelandic University.

• One award ISK 100.000 for a bachelor’s thesis graded 2022
• One award ISK 200.000 for a master’s thesis of at least 30 ECTS credits, graded 2022

Nominated theses are required to be exceptional and conforming to accepted disciplinary standards. Candidates must be nominated by their supervisor(s).

The awards will be presented at SAF‘s annual meeting in the spring of 2023 (TBA).

Nominations and a copy of dissertation must be submitted by e-mail to Eyrún Jenný Bjarnadóttir, Icelandic Tourism Research Centre by Thursday 9th of February.
